After ten months hiding two Nigerian international students are still holding out hope that they will be able to go back to classes and finish their studies at the University of Regina.
“It’s been mentally draining, it’s been very hard for us,” Ihouma Amadi explains during a phone interview from an undisclosed location in the city.
She and Victoria Ordu have been pleading their case in countless letters to federal politicians asking for a pardon after getting a deportation order last year.
