Students at St. Joseph's High School wear pink to stand against bullying
The hallways and auditorium at St. Joseph High School were filled with pink Monday morning to send the message that the students were against bullying.
The bright shirts were part of a rally for the Red Cross Day of Pink which brought the anti-bullying movements founder to the school.
"My childhood, I too was bullied. I was affected by this my whole life from Grade 1 right to Grade 12," Travis Price, co-founder of Pink Shirt Day, said to the auditorium packed with students.
"I never understood why it was happening to me."
