Recruitment drive for 30 Bigs in 30 Days for April
More than 100 kids are on a waiting list to get a 'big brother' or 'big sister' in Regina who will hopefully become a positive influence in their lives.
Ash Noureldin is the Executive Director for Big Brothers of Regina. He says the program been matching kids with mentors in this city since 1971, but the need for volunteers has grown.
“This is our first major recruitment initiative in our history where we’re looking at our wait list of just over 100 children,” he said. “Our initiative for the month of April is to get 30 new recruits in the door.”
