U of S professor wins national award

A lifetime of research is gaining national recognition for a University of Saskatchewan professor.

Canada Research Chair in Native-Newcomer Relations and professor of history Jim Miller won the Canada Council for Arts 2014 Killam prize.

The award recognizes Miller's research on the history of relations between Canada's indigenous and immigrant people over the past four centuries and his current research into reconciliation with and for residential school survivors.
